O Glorious Father, Saint Cajetan, father of the poor, protector of the afflicted, and the way and guide for those who sail todard the port of salvation by the incomparable confidence of God, thou hast merited to see the fulfillment of His promises to add the good things of this earth to those who seek first the kingdom of heaven, thou has given such help to those who trust in thee, that thou hast obtained from Christian people the glorious title of "Father of Providence." Listen, then, to our supplications, and obtain for us from the Divine Bounty, the graces we come to ask through thy powerful intercession, if they be for the greater flory of God, and for the good of our immortal souls. (Pause and mention your intentions.) Purify our hearts from the least stain of sin, and obtain the grace taht our Lord Jesus Christ may reign over us now and forever.
